How do I make a new video in the Create app?

After opening the Create app on Android or iOS, the home screen will provide multiple ways to create a new video. 

💡Tip: iOS users can also create and edit videos directly from the Vimeo iOS app.  

Android

• Start from scratch:
  • This option opens a blank project in the Create app editor with no scenes or  media attached. 
• Auto-generate a video with my media:
  • Uses Create's AI to auto-generate a video after you’ve selected the media, and music to be included.
• Customize a template:
  • Customize a premade template with your media. Learn more at ‘How do I use templates in the Create app?'.

iOS: From the Create app

• Start from scratch:
  • Start from scratch opens a blank project in the Create editor. 
• Get a quick video:
  
  • Quick video uses Create's AI to auto-generate a video after you've selected the media you'd like to appear. 
• Pick a template:
  • Customize a premade template with your media. Learn more at ‘How do I use templates in the Create app?'.

iOS: From the Vimeo iOS app

1. From the home screen, select the circular blue button with a white plus sign in the middle. 
2. Select Create to open the editor directly in the Vimeo app.
3. Add media to begin creating your video. Learn more about adding media at ‘How do I add or upload media for my video in the Create app?’
   💡Tip: Select Record Screen to record your device’s screen. Select Record a video to record a video using your device’s camera and microphone.
