End screens–available for Plus members and higher–are tools that help you connect with your viewers after your video finishes playing on an external website where it's embedded, by letting them know where to go next.

End screen options
You can drive engagement and conversions with the following customizable end screen options:
- More videos: Group together three of your public videos or the latest three videos from one of your channels, groups, or showcases. You also have the option to add a background image to your video’s end screen. The videos shown in this end screen will automatically load and play in your current embedded player.
- The last video in the more videos end screen will be hidden when the player is smaller than 375px wide
- Share options: Display social share icons and the video URL after the video finishes playing. You also have the option to add a background image to your video’s end screen.
- Custom image: Display an image after the video finishes playing. You also have the option to make the custom image a clickable link.
- Call to action (CTA): Display a button with a custom link to seamlessly direct viewers straight to your site, product page, or anywhere else on the Internet. You also have the option to add a title, description, additional custom URL, and background image to your video’s end screen.
- The title in the CTA end screen will be hidden when the player is smaller than 360px wide and 203px tall.
- The description in the CTA end screen will be hidden when the player is smaller than 415px wide and 234px tall
- Contact forms (Business and higher only): Display a customized contact form screen at the end of your video, with the option to add a custom message. Please note that if you’ve already set up a contact form before or during your video, this end screen option will not be available. Learn more about contact forms.
The custom message in the contact form screen will be hidden when the player is smaller than 200px tall.
Vimeo Business, Premium, and Enterprise members can also track the performance of the CTA end screen or contact form end screen of a video from its analytics panel. Learn more about analytics for video interaction tools.
If you’d prefer something simpler, you also have the following options for what happens after your embedded video finishes playing:
- Thumbnail: This video will return to the beginning thumbnail after it finishes playing.
- Empty: Your video will not show anything after it finishes playing.
- Loop: Your video will loop after it finishes playing, infinitely.
Except for the Thumbnail and Loop options, there is a replay button in the bottom left corner of every end screen.
All the options listed above can be found by navigating to your video's Settings > Interaction tools > After video. Open the End screen drop-down menu to choose your end screen.
Please note that only some end screens work when you're in a portfolio:
- More videos
- Call to action
- Share options
- Custom image
- Thumbnail
- Empty*
- Text
These end screen features do not appear in portfolios:
- Loop
- Contact forms
Embedding the player in small sizes
These end screens will be hidden when the player is embedded smaller than 300px wide or 169px tall:
- CTA
- More videos
- Share options
- Custom image
- Text
- Contact forms
If you’re embedding a video within a responsive webpage, your end screen may not appear on mobile if the player is too small (below 300px wide or 169px tall).
End screens for live events
Vimeo Premium members and higher looking to include end screens for their streams should be aware that only one-time events support the following end screens:
- Email capture (if not already set up to appear before the event)
- Call to action
- Thumbnail
Currently, recurring events do not support interaction tools including end screens for the live broadcast.
All archived events (i.e. after ending your stream) support full interaction tools, including all end screens.
