Currently, cross-platform purchases are not available on Vimeo. That means, for example, that if you purchased a membership on the Vimeo website using a desktop browser, and then switched to the Vimeo Create mobile app to create your videos and wish to upgrade your account, you would need to go back to the website in order to purchase the upgrade.
If you attempt to upgrade your account on a different platform, you'll see an error message saying “You started this purchase on another device. Please continue on that device," instead.
A device, in this context, refers to the website (regardless of the operating system or the browser) OR the Vimeo Create app on Android OR the Vimeo Create app on iOS.
Do I have to continue working on my video on the device I made the upgrade on?
No; the creation/editing process can be done on either one of our platforms. Once the upgrade is complete, you can switch back to the device you were using to create your video.
